[Deep Sigh] I guess sometimes it comes to this. Sometimes you just gotta let that other person know that you just ain't feelin' them anymore. And when you are at that much-dreaded crossroad, there is no better way to gently part ways than with some 'Chicago' frontlined by ol' Peter Cetera.

STOP! Really.....I Mean STOP!
What if you were driving, halted at an intersection, and saw a sign that gives you not only one but two blatant instructions to stop! I guess the sign that stays "STOP" just isn't enough these days because bammas still like to go right through them.
Oak Lawn, a suburb of Chicago, has been flooding area intersections with, what I like to call, two-tier stop signs. Some of the messages include "WHOAAA" or "STOP...And Smell The Roses". Hmmm (lightbulb)....this gives me an idea-I should most likely submit my blog title to da Chi and see if they will post it under a standard stop sign.
The clever idea of two-tier stop signs came to fruition by Oak Lawn mayor Dave Heilmann. Seeing that people are so distracted by their cellphones, BlackBerries, and iPods while driving, a sign that is unexpected just may be the key to making people actually stop. The signs may make people smile and take notice thus adhering to the great demand of the message, which is STOP!!!
Perhaps, the future will see red signal lights flashing a holographic message. OK may that is a bit dangerous. In any event lets STOP running red lights and lets STOP running stop signs.
