This is a short semi-survey to find out what store you prefer as a consumer; you can either pick Target or Wal-Mart.
Personally, I'm a fan of Target. For one thing, Target's are more immediately accessible and integrated in cities, while Wal-Mart's are more suburban-based. When I go to a Target store, I can find my way around easily, while Wal-Mart is like a d-mn enclosed amusement park of sorts. Target has better and more direct product lines, while Wal-Mart carries everything under the sun and again it like a product circus. I am not hatin' on Wal-Meezee, but I really dig Target!

I go to Tar-jhay if I need a new pair of sunglasses, or a tote bag, or some shoes, or something cute to go in my house...they just carry better quality stuff, I think.
But for just everyday, "I need some cleaners, detergent, stuff like that?" I'm off to the Wal-mart!
Since I've always lived in a suburban city (whatever) I have always gone to Wal-Mart because of proximity, but I do prefer Target's selection of home decor & children's clothing.
As a college student, Wal-Mart all the way...it's simply cheaper. But Target has better quality products-
I prefer Targét. I like the lay out of the store. Walmart just seems so cluttered. The only thing I don't like about the store that is around me is sometimes the lines are a little long.
I prefer Wal-Mart b\c it has become one-stop shopping. I can buy everything for my home at the W and pretty much get decent prices.
But for a long time, the closest store was Tar-jay so that's where i went til 2 (count 'em) 2 Wal-marts popped up in my hood!
But hands down, i believe Tar-jhay has a better quality of products.
I'm a Target girl myself. Walmart has great prices, but are usually way to crowded for my tastes.

I was a 30-yr union man and Wal-Mart did their employees wrong. I boycotted them. They have since paid millions in compensation and I have ventured back into their aisles. However, I like the look of Target much better. Call me goofy, but, I also LOVE their jingle and the way they continually change up the old standard "Hello, Good-by". Target, it is. Peace.

judging from first impressions and reading a few bits on the site, ill go with wal mart. although ive heard about target more. Ild go with walmart, it looks like its cheaper than target.
Target for sure I think they have better products. Also it is a more focused store. I don't like seeing raw chicken in one section and school supplies in another...pretty creepy.

I'm sooo with you Marcus...I prefer Target. It's more chic!
I have to say I'm into both of them for the same reasons everyone has listed. I mean Walmart is the place to be when it comes to picking up some items for a cheaper price! I really hate that it's crazy crowded and they tend to run out of stuff which is a pain! But I love some of those roll back prices.
However, Target is totally better in terms of home decor, and clothing is also cute! On one occasion I purchased a set of fabulous outfits for my friend who was pregnant. It was sooooo affordable and the style was very trendy!
So if I really had to choose I'd have to go with Target! :-)
I'd always go to Target if they were open 24 hours. Sunday...11pm...school project due the next day...where's an open Target???
wal-mart gives me a headache. i only go when there is no other options. target is the bomb.

I digs them both. If I had to pick, though, I'd go with Target. I just wish they had Super Targets here but Charleston is too small for that.
Target is much more quiet, even though this ghettoness told her child she was going to "knock you the phuck out" the other day. SMH! It was down-right shameful the stuff she was saying.
I love Target esppecially the one by my house! It's a Super Target (target greatland) the produce are so fresh! :)
