Hmmm...is it me or do folks not like to offer subscriptions to their blog? Perhaps they are not aware of how to do so, but Feedburner makes it pretty painless. Today alone, I have been by several great blogs and have left comments and when I went to subscribe to those blogs or add them to my iGoogle homepage , guess what, I couldn't! What is that about? Of course if you ain't talkin' about nothing at your spot, then do spare me the subscription option. To each his or her own, but if I feel that I have a blog that offers good reading, then I would want folks to know when I update my stuff so that they can come back and visit.
Do you notice this when you browse the blogosphere?

HEEELLLLOOOO MARCUS FROM ALABAMA ITS TORRIC...YEAH I HAVE NOTICED THAT ON MANY BLOGS BUT I NEVER SUBSCRIBE. I EMAIL THEM AND ASK THEM IF I MAY ADD THEM TO MY BLOG ROLL..I FEEL LIKE ITS STEALING IF YOU DON'T ASK THEM AND THEN I ADD THEM AND JUST CHECK EACH BLOG ABOUT EVERY OTHER DAY...
LOVE THE BLOG...MAY I ADD YOU TO MY BLOG ROLL????
TORI
I'm such a low tech blogger that i would subscribe to blogs if i only knew how...i mean i have to add all the blogs that i come across to my bookmarks, and don't even know how to create a separate blog folder.
don't judge me.
Feed you, huh??
I haven't subscribed to any blogs. I have a select few that I just check on every few days. Maybe I need to check into this whole subscription thingy.
Hey there thanks for visiting my page! I'm fairly new to the blog world so I'm oblivious to a lot of things. So if you would please tell me how to do subscriptions I would really love it! It would save me a lot of time lol. Thanks again for leaving a comment!
hey i did comment (DOGON)
It blows my mind too how many blogs and sites don't have an ability to subscribe on it. But hark! There is hope! If you can't get the author to get on the RSS bandwagon, you can get around them by going to http://page2rss.com/ and making a feed of their site on your own. It's as easy as cutting and pasting their address!
I think some people just don't want their stuff "out" there for what ever reason. I know on Microsoft live spaces (where I blog) a lot of bloggers chose to set their blog to private so as to prevent any rss feeds from outsiders. I just leave it up to personal choice.
what up bruh!! I don't get many feeds either.. I subsribe to a bunch of blogs and have others on my google homepage.. It's easier than going to each site everyday to see if there's something new.. I have like a billion favorites bookmarked. I subcribe to you though!!
Peace
I definitely offer feeds on my site and I'm subscribed to many fellow blogger sites. It's pretty simple IMO, you feed me, I feed you and so on and so on. ;-)
Every since I moved mine into the post loop, I have gotten increased traffic. At the end of every post, I offer people a subscription option, it's annoying, but it works.
